£120k according to this- so around the same as Benteke but less than half the price...

And there lies the problem . Anyone currently at a 'big' club will be on a contract we cant/wont match so ant talk of Bony ,Benteke is a waste of time and effort .
The only possibility of such players turning up at Selhurst is when their contracts run down and we get em for free

And we still need a striker

Except that the new tv deal has levelled the playing field considerably.

Bony at 13m would be stupidly good value. Question is, why wouldn't half the division be all over that and how wouldn't that result in a massive increase in his cost? (Whether wages or transfer fee?)

Too good to be true.

Totally unfit and out of form, hardly played for nearly two seasons, greedy (but aren't they all these days). Still, was a good player a couple of years ago and would be worth the money at current rates.
Would really need to prove his fitness and commitment, which I doubt he could be bothered to do.

Would be a brilliant signing for us at that price, but not going to happen as Swansea had a buy back option inserted in contract and have first refusal.

Gary Monk isn't there anymore and the new manager might not fancy him.

Much like French players being tempted by another club due to fellow Frenchmen playing there, Bony will want to come to us as we have other Wilfrieds.

Depends how much of an appetite he does have for the game under the right manager with the right squad mentality. At 27, he has the opportunity to stake even greater achievements within his career but with a non-mercenary club like Palace where our players wear the shirt with conviction.

He's probably got a sexy PA and personal masseur at Man City and over 100k a week. He has a full health Spa and Jacuzzi and no doubt everything a young man could desire.
Perhaps he will swap that with a treadmill at Beckenham and a ride with Mark Bright in Parish's helicopter when we win.
