Cant find the line up

But was Palace Port Vale in 95 and finished 2-2

Freedman banged in two, remember Leon Mckenzie playing for sure and remember George Ndah coming on

infant what happened to Ndah? Davids and him are the reason why i don't get players names on the back of shirts, as soon as i got Ndah think we sold him to Wolves?? And Davids.....well i just had to get his name on my shirt even though he turned out to be terrible!

Graham
Hudgell
Dawes
Lewis(jack)
Bassett
Robson
Lewis (Glyn)

Struggle to recall other names without looking up and I have seen players that preceded some of those named above.

The price I paid for watching some of those has been well and truly surpassed by the enjoyment I have obtained by our periods of success

It's a very long time ago - late fifties - but I think the first team of which I have a reasonably good memory was as follows:

(In those days they printed the players in the programme in a 2-3-5 formation.)

Rouse

Noakes and Howe

McNichol, Choules and Long

Heckman, Byrne, Deakin, Summersby and Collins.

v Colchester Utd Feb 1964, I have the programme somewhere. Off the top of my head I would guess some of the following were playing that day ...

Bill Glazier, Bert Howe, Don Townsend, Ronnie Allen, Brian Whitehouse, Cliff Holton, Peter Burridge, Stuart Imlach, Brian Wood, Alan Stephenson

Didn't Barry Pierce go to Millwall in an exchange with Roy Summersby?
