Over the years we have seen so many of our ex players moving on to do brilliantly in the top flight whilst we languished in the championship- too many to list!
It used to give me an interest in the Prem Leage to see how they were getting on.
BUT the difference here is we are talking about a player dropping a level to find regular football while WE are in the Prem league - a complete role reversal.
Things are going so well for our club that I really dont understand why this subject keeps cropping up! Yes he was great for us. Yes we sold him 6 months too early. But we nearly won the FA cup last season WITHOUT him and will improve agin this season WITHOUT him.
