I blame the Scots as a whole, rather than Andy Murray. I mean, he didn't even win a grand slam last year. Alright he won the Davis cup, but that's a team event and they won the SPOTY team prize. But as the only Scot on the list all 5m (probably) voted for him. Wimbledon + Olympics + potentially Davis cup again... I think we're both pissing in the wind with our predictions the more I think about it.

They should say "yeah, you've done sh*t loads this year, but you've won it before when we were scraping the barrel so we're going to offer it out to someone else now". I wouldn't be at all surprised if they do have their own one. The Welsh do and gave it to Michael Owen once IIRC.
