When we signed Cisse in jan2012 he scored 12 goals in 13 appearances.
Pardew played him as a right midfielder for the first few months of the following season. Absolutely baffling.

Now Pardiola has total control at palace and he says you need more goals he allows players like Gayle to leave, but his incoming purchases have been the likes of Whickham and Adebayor.

He will kill your club

I have to agree on the point of playing players out of position. I think pretty much all of us have been baffled as to why Pardew decided that playing Bolasie up front, a man who would struggle to hit a barn door from 5 yards away, was a good idea. Thankfully we won't have to worry about that happening again much longer.

I hate to say it, but I think things are turning...

There was booing at full time on Saturday and more and more people complaining.

I know a few of the Toons on here have been here to gloat, but the guy posting is drawing some very real comparisons to what happened up there.

Not saying it will go that way at all but I am genuinely concerned... It's not just Pardew, mind... I don't understand how we can let 5 players go, sell Gayle and now Bolasie but not have repacements in before we do so or at least linked to the same deal... It feels like the wheels have come off.

The optimists will always give him the benefit of the doubt, after all he oversaw the team getting to the fa cup final.
What I'd say though is; do good managers go 4 months without a win?

We are definitely shi-ite now so let's party when we meet Bournemouth!

Actually, I do understand what you mean and agree with it. On the whole we are a pretty tolerant following but the current situation is becoming unsustainable.

I am very disappointed it's Pardew but can't disagree with anything that's been said about him at other clubs.

Is it time to act because of what we can all see happening on the pitch? As I've already said on another thread, I don't think he's the right man even if we brought in some new players to add quality to our squad.

Pulis had a centre-back as Right back and a striker as a winger for WBA on Saturday. Every manager does it when he feels it is necessary. The difference was they did their jobs like the professionals they are. Ours didn't do much of a job in their preferred positions and haven't been (mostly) for a while.

So, 18 months after your manager leaves you hunt down a palace website "in peace" to say I told you so, based on 1 game. Even the people in Geordie Shore had have the intellect to work out that's gloating.

We were 10 minutes away from winning the cup final and safe by Christmas last season. The dip in form was only attributed to a lack of a striker, injuries and the cup run.

In the past few years you've had the current England manager keep you up and Pardew but niether were good enough apparently.

Now you're in the Championship and have lost your first two games.

Pardew would have kept you up. Especially if he had the same amount of money as McLaren had.

It's people like you that have turned Newcastle toxic.

I basically agree but we can get rid of him in a fun way; something like making him walk out on deadline day and leaving us in chaos in some sort of fiasco. The kind of usual thing we do - you know what I mean. At the games we can still be pissed and shouting until we are hoarse. I wouldn't join in any Pardew out chorus and can't even imagine it at Palace (well not since Alan Smith/ Mullery take your pick) anyhow.
(Nostalgia creeps in). I remember us cheering 'we're going to score in a minute, score in a minute' at Anfield 20 mins after we had lost 9-0.

So you think he's doing a good job? Can you think of any other managers who've went 4 months without a win in recent times? You were in europe at xmas to almost relegated.

If you're happy with that then brilliant. You obviously have low ambition for your club

We are not a massive European force of a club like Newcastle and, in general, we accept that.
We want to do better and Pardew does not have long to prove himself - a poor run at the beginning of the season and he will be gone - based on results - not on delusions of Granduer or from social media campaigns.

This with bells on.

Really don't know what you are trying to achieve. You hound the guy out of the club in a manner that reflects very poorly on the people of the North East. Fine. You support your team, you pay your money and you have the right to shout what you like. You dont get to hound the guy out of our club. I can understand your shame at being owned by a creep like Ashley and even take against anyone who he appoints. Your club your right. things have gone so well for you since he left

However we will make our own decisions as to when or if we want a change and we don't need any input from you. Mind your own business

I agree with the Newcastle fan. Pardew is an average manager but a horrendous person. He has destroyed/in process of destroying lots of things we all love about our club. We're a team built on spirit and hard work. We are slowly watching that spirit erode and apathy seep in. The way heads went down after the goal at the weekend shows that. He has ruined the dressing room by treating players like Murray, Speroni and now Jedinak with complete contempt. It's all about him and his ego. I know this to be true from Charlton where I have a contact who said he was horrific to work with. Even the fans are bored and apathetic now. The atmosphere both home and away is apologetic now.

His tactics have been awful and player selection have been dire too. To have to make so many half time subs last year shows that he gets it wrong all the time.

You can all look back and say he did well for a year but he can't live on past glories. Unless we're doing as expected by the end of September (lower mid table mediocrity), he simply has to go otherwise we're down.

Forgot about that point. Once you concede first, you know it's over. Total lack of motivation. Draw if you're lucky after resorting to longball tactics. Was almost 3 years for Newcastle to win a game after conceding first
