Just been put up for sale by lazio. I'd take a gamble for a few million he's clearly got the talent. But the temperament not so much, maybe he's old enough and has calmed down who knows, there's been no reports of anything in a year or so, so why not take a punt and offer a loan to buy deal based on how many appearances?

No thanks. People have short memories.. Strangled Wilf in an England U21's game, then came to Selhurst with West Ham in the Pulis days - we won the game 1-0 (maybe 2...) and it ended with him strangling Joel Ward and then spitting into the family stand when they boo'd him. He's a fcuking chav who shouldn't play football full stop, let alone for the mighty Palace. He should be sat outside some shop in Thornton Heath asking people if they want a bag of his 'banging weed'.

I'm not defending him he is a grade a c**t but zaha was in his face and he shoved him away. Plus wilf a model pro demanding to leave and banging that wolves players girl ect. Like I said maybe he's calmed down and grown up ? I think his talent is worth a gamble on loan. If he don't work just terminate it and send him back.

Very much a dedicated professional, and arguably one of the best midfielders this country has ever seen. But he is revered worldwide for not being able to tackle - he picked up an unbelievable record of bookings. I think he still holds the 4th worst disciplinary record in the premier league. The only reason I mention it is because Ferguson still kept faith in him despite a somewhat poor discipline on the pitch. Edited by Calzardi (28 Aug 2016 11.37pm)
