Dwight scores a second as the Mags now lead 4-1.
How we will miss him this season, with our one ,currently, fit striker system, but with literally millions in the bank achieved through unnecessary player sales.
Good business plan, SP.I think not.

zzzzzzzzzz

I hope so, I like to see our ex-players do well. But there isn't really any doubt about whether they were good championship strikers.

Murray, I think we lost too soon, but ultimately he didn't do much for AFC Bournemouth either (and got less games there than he did at Palace) and Gayle never really managed to secure his position here.

If we played 4-4-2 or 3-5-2 I think Gayle would have been great for us. But I don't think we have ever really had the premiership chops to do that.

oh and I'll add this.

if this thread wasn't about moaning about how well theyre doing etc...and about players a certain percentage of palace fans wanted to keep...and if it's not a stab at the club for selling...and they truly are simply looking at players who have moved on...in an innocent fashion (which let's be fair they arent)

then why not mention other players like jake gray...or other released players...let's talk about them? let's talk about other squad players in league one and so on....but no...doesn't seem to be much interest there does there....

This is akin to looking up your ex bird on Facebook and revelling in misery seeing her cavorting with her new bloke. There's a reason he left (and she for that matter...) Good luck to him (not her).

Murray was a poor buy from them he didn't fit the system which is why he hardly got any game time.

Fair amount of players need to be used correctly otherwise they do not perform well Gayle was one of them you had AP putting him up top trying to play him like you would a target big man other times he was on left wing. The same was with Jed AP made him look bad expected him to play his game rather then what Jed was strong at this is how you spot quality managers they know how to man manage and use players to strengths.

Right now would rather have gayle than 10m as we need strikers. At least he'd get us back up once were relegated. Can't believe our squad is weaker now than last year and even worse, is weaker than last week!
