Shame the BBC can't get the simple facts about us right. The former Gillingham, Bristol City and Stoke City manager walked away from his previous job at Crystal Palace in August 2014. That decision to leave was believed to involve a dispute over bonuses. No it wasn't, it was over him having total control of the transfers. If it was about bonuses he wouldn't have been paid his, and subsequently had to pay it back for being a lying dick.
