Hilary Clinton isn't left wing and nor are most democrats (they're roughly on a par with the UK conservative party - Saunders is, but Clinton is between Blair and Cameron).

Remain wasn't particularly partisan either, given that a large percentage of the conservative party, including the prime minister, were part of remain around 30% of the exit voters were traditionally more left wing voters. There were two major movements Labour for an Exit and a Trade Union exit movement. The more 'corporate interest' was in a remain.

Palestine - Another cross party issue. You don't have to be left wing to think that Israel needs to compromise and make changes to deliver a lasting solution, or that Israeli retaliation has been disproportionate and counter-productive. That said I am definitely anti-Lukid, who I would argue, like Hamas Military Arm, need to continuity of the conflict to maintain their position of power.

I think with Israel, there are people who are left wing who are pro-Palestine regardless. Where as more people tend to be 'pro end to all this f**king s**t already'. When it was the PFLP, Fatah and the PLO, there was definitely a left wing bias in support of Palestinian Terrorism (or self defence).

I haven't met many left wingers who are pro-Hamas, and those that I have tend to be very stupid.

Some on here would be lost at sea without being able to blame everything on 'the left' instead of reflecting on their own beliefs and behaviours!

It's just a simplification people use to avoid reflecting upon nuance, and their own attitudes and behaviours. No different from those blaming everything on 'the right' of course. CPFC leans to the left, this place to the right. A case of 'choose your poison'.

Well I believe it's called a point of view.
I have to say that I am not inclined to spend hours writing posts which might receive an award for literature. The nuance of a written opinion on here has to be interpreted by the reader using some common sense. There is far too much time spent on here arguing over the use of language rather than the topic itself. There is also, if I might say so, a rather holier than thou attitude among some.

Just highlighting a statement of fact. It's all the fun of the fair of course. Now get back to ranting about muslims you silly sod .

I disagree. She is left wing though Bernie Sanders is more to the left of her. The Democrats are lefties – living in California, I am feeling their tax, tax, tax socialist principles. Lefties in the UK would never in a million years say they'd back a Republican. Come on Jamie, you know that can't be denied.
