And yet Trump is the one who has had someone actually give it a go.

Albeit by a wet lettuce from England who had no chance of completing even the first part of his well thought out plan. Steal a gun from a police man...

Agreed. Two really bad candidates, she is just about the lesser of two evils. Having said that, I really do reject almost all of what the Democratic Party stand for. If I was American I'd find it very tough to vote for either, would think about voting Libertarian if the leader wasn't so stupid that he didn't know what Aleppo was.

Is it
A. Australian slag for a leopard?
B. A bombed out crater in the Middle East?

Fingers on buzzers...

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.

In a 'lesser evil scenario', I generally deface my vote - Whilst it won't make a difference, at least its not in my name (directly). We should never see democracy of which of the parties we dislike less, but those candidates who represent our own views and beliefs, no matter how different.

If 10% of the country is made up of fascists or communists, then 10% of that countries government should consist of representatives of those people.

Otherwise you don't have democracy, you have a form of government which uses ideas of democracy to perpetuate its position of power (such as the wealthy in the US and an educated elite in the UK).

Typical Brit, turns up to an assassination without a gun. Hardly even grounds for premeditation.

The third party vote will be larger than it's been for decades on account that Clinton is corrupt and part of 'the machine' and Trump is an obscene egomaniac who will demean anyone andd say anything to win. He uniquely appeals to the worst aspects of who we are.

This is sexism according to the shadow foreign secretary.

Had the t*** not gone to a range the day before "to practice" in his own words.

I love the fact that every Brit that the US wants, or wants to extradite, is on the mental health spectrum all of a sudden. With everything you can get that doesn't have categorically provable symptoms.

Does Bernie get a call up to the majors?

They won't take a guy pretending to ride an ostrich seriously will they?

How dare you ask me questions relevant to my position!

When other women are slating her for it you can be pretty damn sure it wasn't sexism.

He'd instantly be the most electable candidate. And i'd probably trust his doctor's word over his health more than the other two.

I hope they would still go with the VP candidate. Sod going through all of this again.

He'd be Kaine and able.

The party big-wigs get to pick the candidate, who probably gets to pick their own new VP.

Kaine didn't even run in the primary, so he's probably out as the top of the ticket. Bernie will be the popular choice, but the parties seem to be about as undemocratic as is possible sometimes, so watch them pick Joe Biden.

Biden wouldn't be a bad choice - he didn't run before because of the very recent death of his son (and he'd had more than enough family tragedy for one person already) - and he'll ball-stomp Trump up and down the debates, but the wailing and rattling of beads from the left would be cacophonous.
