Does anyone know how long jordan mutch is out for. He look impressive in pre season. Since then hasn't even been on the bench.

My problem with Mutch is that when he gets 30 yards from goal he tends to have a shot rather than pass. I can appreciate his dilemma as Pardew bought him I think because he can score from distance, and he's hell-bent on doing that, but he really needs to do more assists. I have watched him now several times infuriatingly refuse to pass to a striker in position waving frantically for a very simple ball - but he's always, thus far, done the same thing: ignore, shoot and miss.

He will not score for us but in all fairness,is ideally suited for the Championship.Probably, should have gone to Derby and may well do so during the next window.
