A great result today, but as a wise old prostitute once said "one swallow doesn't make a summer".

Great to get a decent win, but need to keep this kind of performance up.
Our home record needs to be good for a change. Stoke were poor and should have scored a couple themselves today if I'm honest.
Townsend is a class player and has finally got his goal which will bring out even more class performances from him I'm sure. Steve is a good keeper and that's a good piece of busines.
Things looking up and about time super Al.

But, does make the basis of a great protein shake.

Most certainly not European.

I'm tempted to respond, but I don't want to get red carded ;-)

As with any CP manager, good form and he's touted for England, and poor form he needs to go.

Always has been that way and always will be. The trick is not to get carried away when we win, and not be immediately calling for the managers head when we lose.

We played well today, and the defence of Pardew during the poor run in my opinion was the bad luck of injuries we've had since the turn of the year and a lack of squad depth of real quality. January will hopefully address this situation completely and it's pleasing to see the gradual changing of personnel and style to make us better and retain more possession.

Still the right fit for the club in my opinion.

Good summary. Hopefully he'll win them over if we keep playing like that - but some will still want him out no matter what he says or how well we play!

I agree I should feel ashamed. How dare I be worried about a streak that included two wins in six months and Pardew seemingly not knowing how to turn it around. I still dont think Pardew is as good as some think, but know one will be more delighted that me if I am proved wrong.

This^ I would LOVE to be proved wrong about Pardew too! Which BTW I am, as he is obviously a much better manager than Jose M as these last two matches prove! But seriously, I cannot fault his line-ups or subs these last two matches. Gladly accept all the eggs and tomatoes you can throw at me. 'PARDEW FOR ENGLAND".

Great signings and great results but after Sunderland away we have something like

Everton away
West Ham home
Leicester away
Liverpool Home

I'm very encouraged by today but let's not get carried away. Mboro should not be at our level anyway and Stoke have an annual start of season problem. Gave goals away and there are issues there. Having said that we're 7 from 5 games and after those 5 games above I'd be surprised if we didn't pick up at least 5. 5 or less will start the out camp. All I expect is to see us away from the drop zone and not go 4 or 10 games without a win n or 2 wins in 20. I couldn't care less if 1 def mid and 1 winger are unavailable. It's garbage and sets in negativity. Yes negativity in squad and fans online. The whole lot.

Nothing has changed in my mind. We've beaten 2 really poor opponents in Middlesborough & Stoke City. Not to mention Pardew is a Sh*tty Manager and tactician. Will be exposed by better talented clubs. Can't wait until he gets sacked to get a compotent manager at Palace.

I think the Alan Pardew w*** fest is getting a little ahead of itself here.

We've beaten Boro and Stoke... Two poor sides who we really should be beating and I would fully expect us to get a minimum of a point against Sunderland to.

People were well within their rights to be concerned about a run of 2 wins in 24.

Yesterday was different though. We didn't just play well we ripped Stoke a new one!!.... Long may it continue!

Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!!
