So now we judge him on games we haven't even played yet hahaha. How about we just judge him on the games we have played, we will even take into account our poor run last season that you love bringing up every other post. Pardew's record at palace played 74 w 33 d 11 l 30. So tell me how his record suggests his not the right manager to ensure we finish mid table. Obviously his accolades nowhere near match your football manager 2016. Why do you have such an agenda against pardew ? Did he refuse to sign your shirt or something ?

If you've read some of my other posts you will have noticed I haven't an agenda against him. It's you who comes on here, wants to argue but you don't understand what people say. Like a child trying to get in on adult conversation. Nothing new for you but I suppose you're not going away so we have to get used to someone who cannot grasp simple things.

I have said we shouldn't get carried away with beating Mboro and Stoke just as we shouldn't go overboard if results don't go our way vs the better sides we're about to face very soon. How is that judging someone on games we haven't played yet and having a f&&&ing agenda you halfwit? You really don't understand English do you?

I'm saying it's too early and we haven't had enough challenges yet to really form an opinion. Things look good, but they stood a better chance of that with everything in front of us being pretty poor since half time vs Bournemouth.

Plenty of people see what I've said and some have agreed and/or said similar themselves. It's only you who a) doesn't understand and b) turns up at the end of the day to start an argument because again, you cannot understand what has been said and you certainly can't appreciate a point of view reach an agreement or middle ground. I think you need to calm yourself.

You are one of the worst on here with the negativity and toy throwing posts you are twee in a village idiot kind of way.I cant take anyone that continuously refers to 2016 instead of the whole of last season seriously I'm afraid. You choose to forget the first half of last season and most of the season before just to labour your anti-AP vomit and its a borefest. The reason he doesn't get much stick at games is because the vast majority that go to games are educated enough about football in general and where we now stand as a football club to appreciate the work that our owners and manager are doing. You cant even come on here and enjoy a 4-1 win properly such is your miserable outlook on things. I read your post and I think you are genuinely pi$$ed off that we won because it makes you lot look like the mugs you really are.

No your right I don't understand your point. You come on here spouting off complete bollocks for the sake of it. I've not seen one poster getting carried away because we've beat Boro and Stoke. The only people that get carried away are the pardew out brigade when we lose a game.

Do you 2 not get on? It's just a feeling I have, I am a very spiritual person.

No not all teams below us but certainly promoted teams and teams in disarray like Stoke at the present time. We've next got Sunderland away.

The point about expecting some return from these 'easier' matches is that once we go to Everton we have 4 very tough matches. If we got naff all up to Sunderland away the pressure would be on, but currently now the pressure is off and another good result and we can afford a bad return in those 4 tough fixtures.

Getting carried away after beating a promoted side and a very poor Stoke is premature just as analysing bad results vs any of those tough teams alone. They need to be looked at together and after Man C away.

All I'd say to this Rudi is that since when have we ever been able to beat the teams we 'should' be? More often than not our points come from the unexpected such as away at Liverpool and Everton as opposed to home vs Bournemouth of Burnley.

The fact we've picked up 6 points against 2 sides lower than us may show that we're starting to mature as a squad and club...being able to deal with the pressure that comes with being the 'favourite' in a match (?)

As such its still a relatively new phenomenon for fans to beat teams we're expected to and still sits uncomfortably I guess.

Blimey an adult.

It's a fair point but everyone knew the fixture list meant we should and really needed to get a good cushion out of Bournemouth, Middlesbrough, Stoke and Sunderland before Everton, West Ham, Leicester, man city. Pardew no doubt knew it too.

I know there was one season with a nightmare last 4 finish and we certainly viewed that in the same way. There was another with a finish mix of really tough and mediocre. We definitely didn't look and think we could get those last 2 wins in the last 4 games in the former, the first season in the Prem.

I was Holloway OUT! and Warnock OUT! from very early on so don't suffer insufferable managers lightly.

Pardew is on a different planet to those two. He fits our club. He did the best he could with the squad he had even if his decisions were baffling sometimes.

He has kept us up twice with many Championship level players around the place. No easy task.

But now we have more proper Prem quality players than not.

The Pardew slate should be wiped clean from the antis and judge from now and not from just the five months from Jan to May 2016. He has earned that.

Takes a big man to admit he was wrong.

Anything less than twelfth and i will hold my hands up. He's underachieved injuries and suspensions notwithstanding.

I'm confident I won't have to but you antis will

I like Pardew as a manager. I think he just needs to find some consistency and he'd be one of the best managers in this league. Done pretty well with most of the clubs he's managed, especially since managing Reading.

But consistency has always been our problem as a team as well. We tend towards bouts of being good, or being poor, and never really manage to achieve a constant average, which makes it hard to judge managers.

Under Pardew we have never once played half as badly as Stoke did today.

You obviously never went to Villa Away last season then

Look the facts are we have won two games on the bounce, which after a recent run of the worst form of any Club in Europe is brilliant and long may it continue.

However lets have perspective can we ? two games against teams that let's be honest on paper were very winnable games. But in all honesty things must be improving as last year I don't think we get the 3 points and Boro and probably only scrape a draw at home, so all in all a step in the right direction.

The squad has improved a great deal, and things are indeed looking a lot better than in that awful run, but to call people who wanted him out after 2 wins in 25 games is almost as daft as some of the more, shall we say "flamboyant" posts from people who wanted him out.

For me early season report is a C+ with "must be more consistent" in the comments. Which is a big improvement on last seasons D-

Onwards and upwards hopefully.
