If Sam goes Steve Bruce will be offered the job. He was interviewed last time so seems the natural outcome

Having had their fingers burnt once they will go for someone whiter than white like Harry Redknapp

I think he'll survive just. The fact he mentions running things by the FA and he's new to the England job will go with him JUST.

The ups and downs of Palace have left me older than my years

Stupid? Yes. Sackable offence? No chance.

I think he'll be sacked.

The FA will not tolerate the England Manager bragging about how you exploit FA rules.

Allardyce is a very stupid greedy man.

On a £3M a year salary and puts that at risk to earn another moody £400K?

He deserves the sack!

I think this is probably right. The next 24 hours will be very important but I struggle to see how he can survive.

All the FA/"Woy"/player bashing is bad, but certainly not sackable.

But openly stating that there are ways around 3rd party ownership rules? Very different.

Will he survive? Possibly (a few half-hearted "I'll have to checks" might just cover his ar$e, plus the fact he's new, plus the fact there really is such a shortage of other options). But should he? Probably not.

So you'd turn down the chance of 400k? He did say he'd have to ratify it with the FA. He didn't at any point suggest that he'd do anything behind anyone's back. Was he a bit daft and naive? Yes. I just don't think that he's actually said anything that's wrong.

If they sack Sam Allardyce for indiscretions they are hardly going to appoint Pardew in his place so I think that we are quite safe

I'm intrigued as it was less than a month ago that it looked like we were going to buy Lucas Lima who was "owned" by three different parties of which the club that he played for represented only 10%
