What a waste of money, the amount of anti social behaviour you see in and around Croydon and they take a bloke to court for jumping on a football pitch.

Its not anti-social behaviour, its criminal, trespassing and specifically singled out under laws that relate to a dark history of football that many of the latest generations won't have experienced directly. But the issue really relates more to the history of football and the behaviour of fans.

I think a lot of younger fans know why its so easy to get banned, but maybe not understand fully the experience and impact that 'hooliganism' had in the 80s and early 90s, and the sheer level of violence and disorder associated with football games.

The game had finished, he didn't disrupt the game, wasn't inciting violence, goading away fans ect he ran down to speak to a fan favourite who was leaving. If it was to abuse the player then fair enough, if it was to tell him they had a gift for him then it's pathetic.

What if the other 25,000 people at the game followed his lead and also ran onto the pitch?

Were they so friendly when they ran the length of the Holmesdale to make gestures to Iain Holloway?POssibly they shot themselves in the foot this time round by having displayed aggressive behaviour before?

1) Bolasie didn't look too sure when he saw him coming at him

2) Is it only me that has to wait until he says this out loud to start questioning just how plausible it sounds? - nothing had been stated by the club, everything was conjecture and it wasn't until later the following week that anything was confirmed, yet the HF were out buying presents for him? I must ask, what did they get Jedinak then and I bet they thought twice about chaser that fcuker down the pitch!!

Like what happens at the end of every season with teams survivng, gaining promotion. Do them fans end up in court facing a criminal conviction and banning orders ?

I think that is a totally different scenario. Tudor looked agressive as he apprached Yannick and Yannick looked concerned. The fact that the club have not backed Tudor up says it all. He was in the wrong and should take his punishment. Does not matter who or what you are if you want to behave that way expect to be arrested for it. Running on the pitch to celebrate on mass is different aswell you know, thats to celebrate not scare players.

I've already said if it was to abuse bolasie then fair enough. If as he says it was to remind him they've got him a present then his been harshly treated.

And of course it's different but it was a reply to midland eagle for trying to be clever again and other posters looking at it from a black and white perspective.

Let's have a free for all so that anyone can run on the pitch whenever the fancy takes them.

And a free for all on hate crimes as I've never heard homophobic chanting towards Brighton at selhurst park.

It's quite simple really. If he didn't have permission to exit the stands and approach the field of play, he should be punished.

I'd imagine the minimum will be a banning order

As Danny Butterfield wheeled away, arms aloft in celebration of his third goal – an expression of delight and astonishment on his face – a man seated beside me in the stands turned to his young son and told him that he would remember this moment for the rest of his life. I will too.
