To get back to the original post, how can making employers first search the candidate pool for local people to employ be even remotely 'racist', when it makes no requirement for the ethnicity of 'local'. As we all know there are British whites, British blacks, British Asians, British Orientals, in fact 'local British' now comes in every colour, creed, gender or none, and every other diversity that you can think of.
