Blackburn Home Play off second leg
Stockport and Wednesday away to stay up
Liverpool Semi final fa cup
Liverpool 3 3
Brighton away Play offs
West Ham U play off final
Wolves home play offs
Ipswich to go top old first division
my first game vs Luton town 3 3

But Sunderland away play offs wining on pens tops mine.

So many missing games, loved my Palace journey!

The Red and Blue never leaves our Palace empire,!

I can't say Blackburn leaves a real mark in my brain. Euphoric yes, irrepressible even. But i dont remember it being that loud. I have a dreadful memory though. There were moments v Sunderland at home in the playoffs when the noise seemed outstanding. (The one where we got through in the replay thanks to a late and dodgy goal).

Crystanbul was great. Almost everyone was screaming as loud as they could by the end of that.

Spurs away 4-0 (I think) drubbing was soooooo loud. Guess around 1987.

If you want to live in a world full of kindness, respect and love, try to show these qualities.

I was at that Blackpool game and actually it was a frozen pitch that caused the abandonment. Bobby Woodruff was wearing baseball boots because the pitch was so hard.
I was at the Fulham match too,but I think Gerry Queen arrived the following season .

Yes, he did, and he scored - I believe - in our first First Division match, v. Manchester United. But can anyone remember who the third scorer was in that Fulham match? I'm sure that Cliff Jackson and Mark Lazarus got two of them.

Burnley 79,,,,,I actually disagree with Kermit's slightly nervous shouts and cheers, I was in the new stand(Arthur Waite) enclosure and I remember this incredible wall of sound coming from what looked just like a sea of heads in the holmesdale!!

It was noisy Burnley, don't get me wrong, but in a different way to Blackburn. I think because we were 3-1 down with the latter the crowd knew we had to help the team big time, suck the ball into the net scenario with a crescendo of total and very loud support for 120 mins, whereas against Burnley, slight jitters aside, we kinda expected to win or at the very least draw.

Yeah the Swindon match was more electric than the Blackburn final. Possibly as the further you go the more casual fans split up the singing. Anyone remember the red and blue beach ball?

Don't remember any wal@nkers in there but I do remember the disbelief of Hopkins' halfway line own goal and the shops in south Norwood being closed and possibly boarded up. Steve Anthrobus' diving header was a once in a lifetime opportunity glory goal.

Leeds at home around Easter time which might have been under DF just after Burley. We desperately needed points and won. They got 2/3 of the arfur to themselves and needed a win to keep any chances of play offs possible. There wasn't a big atmosphere but the singing itself was really loud. As loud as you can get. All singers knew the importance and delivered.

Millwall away, Spring 1990 anyone? Loud as fvck inside and outside the ground. A few bricks thrown down from the grass mounds to us outside the turnstiles to wish us a nice journey home before the escort for absolutely every palace fan to new cross station.

I missed the Blackburn game, but I make you right about the atmosphere for that one because I was laying in my South Norwood flat with my leg in plaster and could hear it. My most frustrating day as a palace fan by far!!

As for Burnley, I expect you're right about the nervousness of the crowd, but it's a long time ago now and all I remember is the noise, especially when the first goal went in and as a kid with at that time limited big match experience it was mind blowing!!

Stand outs for me

v Burnley to win promotion 1979
v Man Utd 5-0 win in 1972

As for Crystanbul let's not forget that the great atmosphere was really only for the last 10 minutes or so as we clawed our way back.
