Really interesting story this and how some markets work, for us mere mortals.

The guy is a financial whizz and we are letting him go to possibly spend the rest of his life in prison. Employ him here with the Government.

We know that according to his lawyers he has a severe version of Asperger's syndrome.

Every single person the US extradites from the UK claims to have this.

If he committed no crime in the UK he shouldn't be allowed to be extradited.

Optimistic as ever

Still like Tony Blair but this was a serious error allowing a one-way extradition treaty he was advised against it and is a legal man himself.

So, as this guy hasn't broken any UK law and the CFTC has already opined that a US hedge fund caused the crash in question, why hasn't this been laughed out of court?

Well I think Simon's head is large; always involved in espionage. (Name that tune)

He can't have been high frequency trading clicking on a mouse in his bedroom, he wouldn't have been able to operate fast enough.
