Save The After Dark in Reading

Ok - I know most of you won't have heard of the After Dark night club in Reading. However I do know some of you have been there, both in the past and in the present. Its been a cornerstone of late night Reading for well over 40 years! and for a long time the only place you can get a reasonable priced drink, after closing time. It is currently under threat from Reading Borough Council and been targeted for a Redevelopment into flats. I've been going here for 30 odd years, and suspect that more than a few people who've drifted around assorted live bands and club nights will have been here. I would think that anywhere Jamie drinks after hours,should be closed and raised to the ground,with a covnent that nothing can be built on it for a thousand years .
