Or will we be branded as "fake fans" and "bed wetters".

The smugness from some fans was almost as cringeworthy as the smugness from himself after beating stoke Sunderland and Boro.

In the last 31 (yes, 31) games we've won 5 - that includes the 3 mentioned above.

Someone please make a case given our first 11, which genuinely has quality, that that is good enough.

All this "team in transition" is aload of turd as well. When we win games like we did against stoke it's because of the players we have on the pitch and the fact Pardew likes high intensity and power. Besides that he is clearly tactically inept - I thought that even when we were on a good run.

Expecting to get a fair bit of abuse and contemplated saying anything but in fairness I don't really care - some people really need to wake up.

Awful post that conveniently forgets about the PL clubs disposed of in the Cup run.

We are a PL club, and that is as good as it will ever get for a club like Palace who might get in the top 10 and have a good cup run like last season. Pardew is a good manager and it is work in progress since he arrived. We are not able to build a PL squad at the drop of a hat but the longer we can stay in this division, the better the squad will become. At the moment, suspensions and injuries will hurt us but we are a well run club in a good position to continue the progression.

Why moronic 'fans' want to destroy everything the club is trying to do because of a defeat or bad form is beyond. Just ask yourself for one minute, who could we attract as a manager that is better than AP if he did go?

Notice how none of the experts criticizing AP have come up with a replacement. Fair enough to critique, as everyone is entitled to an opinion, but without offering up a solution it just comes across as mindless whining from people who think they know more than the bloke being paid to do the job.

Sunderland's Pure Football on Readytogo.net is well worth having a look at, their meltdowns put ours to shame.

Your the 3rd person to pull me on this without proving your point. ON PAPER being the main 2 words - please explain to me how they are significantly better than us. I.e. our strongest 11 vs there's and in comparison the individual ability is not that much better than ours. Never once did I say they weren't a much better side than us because they clearly are but ON PAPER they are not that superior at all, hence it being "the biggest shock in sporting history". God some of you think you're so exceedingly intelligent, read the original post I was replying to and understand the context.

I've been criticising him for a while and there were worthy replacements in the time I've criticised him. Again if you actually decide to read the posts properly you'll see that I didn't mention sacking him as there isn't currently anyone available. My point is he's not good enough. Plenty of teams prove there is talent available if you look hard enough. My concern is I think Pardew is one of the worst managers in the league and to suggest there will never be anyone we could possibly get who's better is laughable.

Not having a replacement, and his random purple patches doesn't change my opinion on the guy

So swap Ranieri with Pardew and we'd be champions, and Leicester will be the hopeless case of a football team that Palace apparently are? Is this really what you're saying?

If you think Pardew would've guided that Leicester side even to the europa league then you seriously are one delusional man. The same that refers to me as a "fan" as if I don't support the club ffs. When I paid for my season ticket I don't remember signing any papers saying "must never be negative or form a genuine opinion and must blindly worship whoever is in charge". I'm a fan just as much as you are and I'm literally sick to death of some peoples attitude towards anyone with an opinion that differs from there's. It's absolutely pathetic, reminds me a bit of the remainers in the EU referendum calling anyone who wants to leave "racist" because they have no other form of actual substance to back up what they're saying other than "ah were palace were s*** anyway you don't support us your not a true fan". Trust me you lot are as boring to the people who don't like Pardew as we may be to you - I'll still be at selhurst every week regardless being a "plastic".

I didn't say that though did I? You have stated that Palace have on paper a good as team as Leicester. So that only means the difference between Leicester and Palace are the managers? Would we be Champions if Ranieri was our manager?

It's Pant Wetters, not bed wetters!! Sheeezze!

We're an average team doing averagely badly, and the law of averages would suggest we will finish in an average position.

Until we start signing the likes of Silva and Aguero (and some seriously good defenders) you lot are gonna have to buy some pantyliners or there's gonna be one hell of a wet mess come April.

Will Leicester be champions this season with Ranieri as there manager? No. Absolutely enormous achievement but it was an absolute freak that they won the league and it won't happen again.

You seem to forget the season before last they were fighting for there lives to stay up.

In response to anyone who says we don't appear when the team wins - your right, can't speak for the rest but I honestly don't see the point! You can't win, you can't have an opinion. My concerns are still there either way and just imagine how much I'd get slated for daring to say anything negative about pardew when we're actually winning a couple of games. I appear during the abysmal performances where we don't actually nick anything just to see if it's sinking in for anyone yet. His winning streaks don't make me all of a sudden think he's the man for the job and that's because I don't see his tactics as sustainable! When we won 3 in a row the smugness from people who told us "never ever be negative" was an utter joke! "Where are you pardew out brigade now" etc. As if all of us are sitting at home upset we won! It's not how it works, no matter how delusion some of you people are - I don't like Pardew, it's as simple as that but for the record I go to palace week in week out all over the country and I back them 100% and therefore feel I've earned the right to form whatever f***ing opinion I want on the manager.

But this was exactly the same arguement that was being deployed as last year when we didn't have Townsend or Benteke on board.

Was it? If anything, we struggled to create chances last season.

I don't forget at all. I'm well aware where Leicester finished pre Ranieri. Also I'm aware that Leicester were extremely lucky with injuries and suspensions last season - a piece of luck that wasn't given out to Pardew last season. He has also recognised that the SQUAD isn't good enough and has already started the process to make it better - that doesn't happen overnight for a club like Palace.

We're all aware 2016 hasn't been a great calendar year in terms of results, but sometimes there is a little more to see than a result. Instead of stating the 5/31 games won, how about 34/79 games won? Might make you feel a little better.
