I've always wanted to be lenient on Shearer as a pundit but I've lost patience. Sadly he's just not the sharpest tool in the box. 260 goals or not, he's just not up to it. Is it really? Looks like I will be watching MOTD this Saturday wow... Especially if he says 'He will be disappointed with that'.

What is Shearer's beef with us? He NEVER gives us any credit when we win, consistently denies us a penalty in attack and always agrees with all penalties given against us. Who or what at Palace has p1ssed him off? It can't be just Pardew or Warnock... Shearer has always hated us in my experience. Murphy made him look a right grumpy muppet last night! I worked a corporate event a few years ago, and Kevin Keegan was their after dinner speaker. He had a 30-40 minute slide show about life in football, with plenty of behind the scenes chatter. He had a few snide little digs at us during his 'show'. It was all along the lines of "anyone would be mad to go near that club", "Championship club punching above their weight", "relegation fodder"...Blah blah blah.... You get the drift. Total Cnut if you ask me! I wouldn't be surprised if the two of them harbour some ill feeling towards us.
