If you are right who the hell gave Campbell a contract on £30,000 a week.? I thought he was brought in by Pullis and I can't imagine he would have suggested that kind of contract. Probably one of the Crystals would be more successful - might distract the opposition

He was a Neil Warnock signing. Has as much about him as Patrick Bamford. However, still not as bad as Yaya Sanogo who Pardew absolutely adored and played and played and played despite being one of the worst players to ever pull on a CPFC shirt.

You must be a new supporter, as Sanogo doesn't come anywhere near being one of the worst players to wear the shirt.

Murray and Gayle wanted to go to get regular first team football. It's the same at every club, fans say we shouldn't have sold so and so, but if they want to go you can't really stop them. All you can do is get the best deal you can, which we did. Murray went to Bournemouth, and hardly got a game. Wasn't until he dropped to the Championship he's now scoring regularly. Premiership teams weren't exactly queuing up to take Gayle who is now in the Championship scoring goals playing for by far the best team in the divn against crap defenders.
