If you're so convinced at how sh*te Pardew is, why don't you put your money where your mouth is - I bet you £50 if Pardew is at the club the whole season we will not get relegated.

Allardyce glory days came about 10 years ago, what's the point in sacking Pardew so we can hope he does another Bolton. Also, who do you realistically expect us to be above? I'd say City, United, Arsenal, Chelsea, Spurs, Liverpool, Southampton, Leicester and Everton have the squad and the finances to be above us. That would leave us 10th.

50 quid is that it. Your on son.

How many teams get to a cup final then get relegated, Wigan and Hull come to mind!, we are more mid bottom half of the table and just 4 points off the drop zone that is why a win at Burnley tomorrow is essential if we lose, then with Man City up next we will be in deep trouble with a run of some really tough fixtures to come!

I'm surprised that there are so many already preparing for a not very good result by saying what a good team Burnley are etc etc.The fact is that they haven't spent anything like the money we have recently, or had the benefit of a few seasons in the PL. If we cant beat Burnley then we really aren't doing very well and a defeat would be totally unacceptable. Below them are West Brom and WBA and we've managed to lose to them as well!
The manager needs to motivate the team and show some tactical wisdom in the team set up. Playing to the teams strengths, using wingers to good effect to produce chances for our very expensive striker to score. is it that complicated? This is a game we should be winning.

Following Palace since 25 Feb 1978

Maybe, but if we can't beat Burnley tomorrow,I cannot see us getting anything against City, and we will be back where we were second half of last season, hoping that the teams below us perform even worse than ourselves.

that is exactly what we are worried about, championship here we come, the writing has been on the wall since last Jan, it's just we are burying our head in the sand!

I can see it being a better performance than we had against West Ham or Liverpool. Again in the away fixtures we've been good, apart from the defending for the goals, we were pretty decent against Leicester.

Bit too early, don't you think?

Unfortunately the match clashes with the 3.35 at Doncaster where Cape Cova will be running in Palace's colours. If it wins, I will take it as a good omen for the Turf Moor result

Of course it's idiotic nonsense. Who cares what happened last season? This year is a new year with a new team. Does the table (all that matters) show last year's results as well as this year's? No.

All that matters is how we're doing this year, and we're 13th. Last year we got to a cup final. The year before AP performed nothing short of a miracle.

I'll repeat my assertion that you're a spoilt brat who would hound out any manager after they lost a few games and is incapable of looking at the bigger picture. Funny you should mention Moyes, he's taken over a club that's absolutely f*cked because it's sacked managers time and again instead of building something. Grow some balls, get some patience and get behind the team instead of moaning.

Hopefully see you at Burnley on Saturday. Up the Palace.

Firstly it's not nonense. We have exactly the same first eleven as last year, with the alledged improvement of Benteke and Townsend. And we have continued our piss poor vain of form today. Currently two nil down to the footballing behemouth of Burnely at half time.

Spolit Brat ? Far from it my man, I'm to old to be a Brat and as for spoilt, I'm not really sure how a single father of three serving as a Sgt in the Army can be spolit ? But you obviously are so insightful and intelligent you can gauge exactly my personality type.

To be frank you are an idiot. Palace are Struggling big time and the man at helm shows no track record or managerial ability to turn it round. It is the same slow deliberate football each week, I'd be suprised if the defence even has a coach, such are their inept displays.

But you keep on with this assertion that AP is some sort of tactical genius whose just unlucky ? That is why I use the term Idiot. You see the results, but refuse to believe it's anything to do with AP.

But I'm sure you, like AP, will tell me we were unlucky at Burnley.
