To be fair, I don't agree with much sporty writes, but Grayling has done absoluetely nothing in this dispute. He's not even tried to appear to be doing something. He's just sat back and let it be a problem between employer and employee, which is fine if it's not impacting a massive number of employers and employees from other companies!

I mean, what exactly is a transport minister for if not to show an interest in transport?

Part of the answer to that question - I think - is that the government doesn't want too much attention drawn to their contract with Southern, which is an unusual arrangement. It's not a standard franchise agreement.

Grayling is another Specialist In Failure. And can someone please tell me what that cnut Charles Horton does to merit being paid £500k a year ?

The day that ASLEF announced the end of their strike action, my trains to and from Hove were cancelled. Southern are simply incapable of delivering an acceptable service.

Not so quick, Matt! Some of us have jobs to do although I'm using a small pocket of time for lunch for your insinuated request for a reply. Where I keep my distance from you after a period of time, as I'm sure some others do, is that it is an absolute waste of time responding to your juvenile, girlish bile. If anybody displays troll-like, puerile tendencies then there can be no finer exponent of such behaviour than yourself. I'd have more respect for you if you refrained from such immaturity and responded to anybody's response sensibly. You have also produced offensive replies to other users e.g. Nick Gusset, who are welcome to forward their views. I may not appreciate what other posters write but I respect freedom of speech when expressed with decorum.

In your case, I'm staggered that you are even allowed to post on this site and that Holmesdale hasn't banned you.

Bye,bye King of The Trolls!

I actually don't think that's true. I think Grayling has in the background made things worse. There is no way Southern would have gone on this long without the government pulling the strings behind the scenes.

My understanding as to why one union has accepted, but not the other, is that the RMT (rightly or wrongly) were not allowed to form a part of the talks. So there wasn't much chance of them getting to an agreement!

You troll me at every available chance.

Don't make out this is my choice.

It is your choice.

Deal with it.

One further thing. Don't drag others into the argument you have created. Be a man and argue your own case.

I don't mind being cited in another's post. Hoof refers to me all of the time so I'd take it as read that it was de riguer in these parts.

I'd hardly say I was dragged in. In fact some might argue it was used as irrefutable evidence that proves Sportyteacher isn't very far from the truth.

Lol u squeal like the pig your are when challenged and cry like a baby when one of you many inadequacies are pointed out.

BTW, the article says they arte still in dispute, just like the interview in on breakfast TV.

U need to spend more time with Ting Tong.

I don't mind the trolling, HOL has never changed though this particular poster is more obnoxious than most with his support for parriah states, double standards etc.

I still think I am the only HOL poster who was not close to deaths door who got his own thread courtesy of the KoT.

I don't want to understand the political bulls*** around the outside of all this but have two kids in their lower teens who use use the train to travel to and from school and tell of the daily scrum, fighting ASB etc that prevails.

The idea that the a driver could have entire responsibility for this as well as for driving the train and getting it to its destination on time is negligent and indefensible.

Pefwin, if you were half as clever or funny as think you are, some of what you say and do would be acceptable or at least understandable.

However, I feel like I am being trolled by an illiterate pub bore.

How you have perfectly summed up yourself, Matt! I could not agree more with Pefwin's assertion of your tendency to lean towards the pariah state with a strong smattering of double standards.

On a separate note, whilst politicians from all of the main parties can be likewise rightly accused of double standards, so the same can be said of this man:
