Oh shut the f*** up you boring dick head, I've been following and supporting palace for years. Just who the f*** are you to tell me to do anything hard lad.

We played exceptional for the last 30 mins we were crap for the first hour or do you disagree ?

We had a point in the bag and yet again we couldn't defend his record is piss poor, there is nothing more I owuld love than for him or any manager to turn the 36 and 5 into a much better record. we are under achieving with a good squad. It would seem your limited intellect can't pick up on that.

Tit.

Red card?

Surely a 2nd yellow card for insinuating to the ref to show a yellow?

Do you gesture a yellow card at Sunday football to the ref?

cucking thing is I have been following palace since 1978, I was six when my uncle first started taking me. Then I went on my own as soon as my mum would let me, think I was about 10. So thats over 35 years behind the red and blue, To have blokes that havn't been off thier mums tit that long digging you out over a difference of opinion is annoying.

We all want Palace to do well. My view is that AP has assembled a squad that are better than his managergerial expericance can handle.

It seems quite obvious to anyone who has a basic knowledge of football that the players are almost playing within themselves to fit his way of playing. When we went two up front we battered Burnley. But as is the way with AP he will only revert to that after teams have had a 45 minute head start, or a goal or two. That arrogance is what IMO will take us down.

i am from the same era as you and i`m afraid you will never convince the younger generation of the older generations outlook on football.
Some people cannot accept home truths or criticism of the team / manager.
It makes me laugh but at least they are loyal and defend the management to the end, even if they can blatantly see its not working out for the club.

Reminds me of players in the world cup and then hiding behind people when it goes off.

Or Nigel Winterburn when Di Canio decided to turn back towards him. The look on his face was price less.

Our defence is the big problem that needs addressing, should've been done in January and wasn't, then the summer came and went. We need a decent DM, a proper upgrade on Jedi. We also need better full backs, Soaure is a miss for us but we could do with an upgrade on Ward too. Delaney has heart but is getting too old to rely on and Tompkins needs time to form a partnership with Dann.

Going forwards we look class at times, only the top 4 have scored more than us but that is all being overlooked by individual errors costing us. Pardew needs to have a plan set for our return from the break because we need to be a lot more solid at the back, I can see the way we play is coming together but until we can keep a clean sheet its not going to be good enough.

Good post.

Ohh and I love the fact you think winning only 5 games out of 36 is a minor problem.

Good grief.

..these results do not matter for the pure fact that they haven't decided anything as to our standing in this league, so long as we get enough points to survive I don't care how many games this or that, player performances during games is where it matters and some players are just slightly under performing in crucial places and times, that is all it is, today's game could quite very easily have gone our way and they Burnley would be saying exactly as you are about this and that, Palace are not far at all from achieving better results, I'd rather wait and see how Mr Pardew solves the minor issues than wait and see somebody else come in and achieve a few quick wins and then have exactly the same issues but without the knowledge of how all the players feel and behave after games like today.

The players play for Pardew, it may at times appear a bit shaky, but they obviously all do like him.

Absolutley Geoff (been dying to say that ) I get that but not everything in a red and blue shirt is brilliant ..remeber Trevor Aylott ? Lol.

I'm old enough to remember when we first Pardew first tipped up as a player, and he was as hit and miss as a player as he is as a manger. I know newcastle have been through the s***, but they now have Rafa, what I wouldnt give to have someone like that at Palace, but I am sure somne of the experts on here will argue that AP is better than Rafa Benitez.

And you're right you just can't do logical with these people.

I'm really not bothered, just highlighting a possible disparity (until I get an explanation-possibly because it was deemed 'I started it'..miss).

I've been waiting some time to leave this board and it's people like you that generally speaking I shan't miss (despite on occasions me agreeing with you on football opinion)

A shame really as beneath the slagging off this thread actually brought some interesting opinions and addressed some common issues we ALL have at heart.

Anyway, sounds like you could do with a trip down south, maybe embrace some homosexuality, skinny jeans and maybe even some facial hair...heaven forbid.
