I rarely post, but have supported Palace for years.

One thing I do know is when something is broken, it needs to be fixed. Not sure what is going on behind the scenes, but something is not right.

I guess the question is how many times already this season have we been unlucky to lose ...and how crucial those points will be come the end of the season.

Pardew has/is giving it his best shot, but honestly...the time has come to make some changes....however difficult that may be.

Going down one division is simply not part of the long term plan.....we avoided being closed by minutes, so certainly can't allow another catastrophe to happen.

I agree not going down has to be the aim but surely after 10/11 games nobody can say that we will get relegated playing the new style. In another 10/11 games we will become more proficient in playing the new style and we can judge more accurately if we are going to be relegated playing this way. If then we are still not picking up points ten we can talk of change. I. Would suggest if you kick Pardew out now that we will not be further forward in 10 games time than if we keep him.

With great regret I have to say that after today's performances and the comments made after, it is time for the club to look at someone else from Pardew. It's been a really enjoyable journey but after the amount of investment over the summer we can't justify the performances this season.

Getting to the FA cup final still sounds like a dream but we did it with Pardew. Something I'll never forget. When that goal went in, I thought we were about to be champions but hold no grudge that we couldn't cross the line.

This season started badly, we recovered but have now slump pedal even lower than we have done this year. It's been a bad 2016 and no matter what, our annual form won't look like we can stay in the league. It is time to move on and find someone who is the next step up from Al, even despite how much I had wanted him to take charge of us when Pulis and Co took over, we have reached our limit with him. He isn't a top half manager and that's what we need when we are spending over 50 mil during the summer.

Thanks for everything Alan, it's been our best period in our history. We now need to move forward.

We are not a top 10 side, in fact a long way from it, regardless of who the manager is. Spending £50m in this league, may keep you were you are, if your lucky.

The deluded sense of entitlement amongst posters on here is staggering. As a poster said earlier Everton fans are in meltdown, they thought Koeman was going to turn their club around, its not that easy.

I would have sacked Alan after the FA Cup Final. However, Alan has the backing of the board who provided him with substantial sums of money to strengthen the team. This is working in so far as we are among the top goalscorers in the PL. We are also amongst the highest leakiest defences in the league.Alan has been backed to change the style of play, which I must say is more pleasing on the eye. The defence is very worrying. As he was backed by the board,I believe they will back him until Christmas. Strangely I am more on his side than I was in the summer. If he sorts out the defence we could be back on track, as going forward we are in good shape. In these days of instant gratification let's we how long he gets. I too was there in the dark days of Steve Ketteridge, supporting a losing team. We are a very long way away from that place. Up the Palace.

A new era of total football is on the way to Selhurst Park!!

How ridiculous. We are Crystal Palace not Barcelona,,, show some faith and patience. We are trying to change from counter attack football to a passing possession style... continually trying to counter attack encouraging pressure will eventually kill us off..... it won't just work overnight.. long time goal guys...

Anyone who's ever kicked a ball will tell you that poor concentration comes from lack of fitness and preparation.

He's a lazy, complacent chancer.

you have it spot on. we haven't stood still and neither have the teams around us. some of the traditionally weaker clubs have got much harder to beat. yes, pardew is streaky and we all know that. but there is a togetherness at the club, from board to manager to staff to fans, that will see us through

Before Palace he had a 9th, 5th, 10th and 16th finish plus he has a top 10 finish with us

My concern is why we are conceding so many goals? The lack of clean sheets is worrying and we dont seem to have any organization at the back. Apparently our team put in extra defensive training this week and we go and concede within the first 2 minutes. At 2-2 today we commited all our players in hope for 3 points. Surely the manager has made that decision and has to take the blame? We've been patient enough today was the final straw for a lot of fans

After reading that rubbish i can only conclude that you haven't been a fan very long.
Pardews time to go was straight after the FA Cup fina, it was only the cup run that kept him in a job.

Absolutely agree.

Is this new style conceding loads of goals and booting it up to Benteke. Honestly this new style stuff I just dont see one.
