The Singing Ringing tree was pretty scary stuff for kids along with the The Witch out of HR Puffinstuff. What where they on in the 60's? Who remembers Children of the Stones probably the scariest kids show ever and Sapphire and Steel. The scariest thing about TV today is the cost of Sky

[/quote Yuffy lifts a finger ... it didn't scare me but there was the Tarzan Lord of the Jungle cartoon from the early 80s, I used to like how his mumbo jumbo speak to get angry wild animals to stop and listen to him - to gorillas he'd say "Unk Mungani", to tigers it would be Unk Tangani, and if you'r ever being charged by a wild elephant, which is far scarier than either Bagpuss or Fingermouse I may add, simply raise the palm of your hand and say "Yo Tantor" and you'll be OK.
