clocks being dicked with is not good though, I have pretty set bed times body clock wise .
However, you get to wear clothes you've had stashed for months.
Big overcoats, change of shoes & jumpers etc.
Obviously some of you scruffs on here wont get this. fresh air.
smashing.

I have to agree,kd. I enjoy all the seasons for what they are.

I am at my happiest in Autumn and Winter. Hate Summer (apart from all the solar powered women walking about). I like to go to work in the dark and get home in the dark. Wrapping up warm on a crisp morning, enjoying a hot coffee in a cold park. Lovely stuff.

Pretty much sums up my feelings on the seasons, don't mind spring though.

Season Affective Disorder - See a doctor - its affects can be amplified by the clock changes, as the body clock is set by melatonin reactions in the skin to sunlight, and this also functions to trigger production and release of 5-HT serotonin.

For mild affect - try increasing melotonin or taking 5-HT supliments, or taking in more sunlight during the day.

More serious affect, get a natural light box, and put it on near you. Oddly this will adjust your melatonin levels, and switch your cycles of serotonin production.

Oddly, the back of the knees and inside of the elbow joints are the areas must sensitive to sun light.

St Johns Wort might help, but it could be a bit overkill for most people.

Obviously if your losing affect, then seek medical advice.
