I've been a user of the tram myself daily for just over ten years now and I would have never imagined an incident like this occurring and I've struggled really to get to terms with it. It was truly awful to hear of the derailment and the fact that there was loss of life and many injured.

My thoughts are with those family and friends who have been left behind and I wish those injured a speedy recovery in what must be very difficult times. Keep strong.

I hope both Palace and City fans can all come together at the next home game and give a minutes respectful silence; or applause in the 7th minute if the silence can't be arranged?
