If there is no improvement then a change must surely come and we are back to getting a manager mid season to pull us out of the mire, the same position we were in when he joined. Presently we are not an established team in a very competitive league, so moving to the next step is in my opinion a little premature.

1. Super Al now has a squad with wages that are the 20th highest in Europe and 11th in the premier league.
2. He has spent more money on players than any other manager in our history.
3. He has the lowest points average in 2016 not just in the premier league but the whole of the 4 divisions in England.

So in summary we have invested unprecedented amounts of money in transfers and wages and achieved the worst return in the whole of English football in 2016.
