So we are playing quite well, Puncheon and Zaha are worrying their defence with good runs and balls into the box and there are two strikers in there causing them problems. One all.

So what does our coach do? Takes one of them off and puts a squad midfielder on instead.

Genius.

Lose against an improved Swansea next week and the wheels really will have come off with 6 defeats in a row.

The 2016 results are awful, but the season doesn't run from Jan to Dec. I'm more concerned with this season and we have lost 7 of our first 12 and a quick look at our opponents so far tells you, we should of never lost that many. It's time to grind out some points playing s***e football Al, otherwise you will take us down.

5 wins in the entirety of 2016 is relegation form. What Pardew did in guiding us to our highest PL finish a year ago is consigned to the history books. What matters is here and now, not putting the rose tinted specs on to reminisce about 2 seasons ago.

Our next lot of games

Swansea - A
Southampton - H
Hull - A
Man United - H
Chelsea - H
Watford - A
Arsenal - A

Fail to take anything more than 7 or 8 points from this, and Pardew is a goner.

Fail to take 6 points from the next 3 and unfortunately he has to go.

... that your case is starting to build in your favour.

C'mon Palace let's turn this around now.

7 or 8 points is the small optimist in me trying to be positive. Haven't got the best record at Swansea. We haven't won since the 3-1 win in 2009.

Attacking like we did today we should be able to do the likes of Swansea and Hull without too much bother, one would think. But if we don't bolt the door at the back we can lose to anyone and Pardew's game management seems to be worth a goal a game to the other lot.

I think you're right, I was patient with Pardew since last season's bad run, but now I'm waking up and admitting he's just not good enough. Knowing our luck, we'll beat Swansea and Hull and draw with Southampton. The rest? Nothing at all.

Understand that, but after the next 3 games we need to make a change if it doesn't improve. Or even if it does to be frank. Gives the board time to bring in a replacement and bed in before January.

I agree. But it won't be Allardyce. Knowing our knack for employing ex-players as a manager, it will be Coleman (Whom I don't want)

I love Palace; Two years ago I believed that we could beat anyone, such was the team spirit and the fans support.Despite the fantastic experience of the FA Cup I don't think players such as Dann, Ward, or Zaha are moving forward. That has to be the manager's influence.
This afternoon was embarrassing tactically ,We struggled in the first half with Townsend (who looks completely out of form),We change it at half time and bring on Wickham ,we're all over them and Pardew takes off Benteke and puts on Lee (who always tries hard but clearly isn't good enough).I'm sorry but Pardew has to go before its too late!!! All f us are so fed up !!!

Warnock was given the boot on Boxing Day 2014 with 15 points from 18 games. With Soton, Chelski, ManUre our next 3 home games we could be very dangerously close to here. Tide needs to turn for Pards next 6 games or he is gone.
