No, in this day and age of hiring and firing at the slightest drop of a hat, I'm sure he can't - but isn't it nice to see a manager in a bad run being given the opportunity to turn it around. Following Palace brings good times and bad times - always has and always will.

There are plenty of other bigger and wealthier clubs out there if all you want is the good times.

I've seen enough in the 81 games he has managed, to believe he can take the club forward given time.

..and in how many of these 81 games have we been under the cosh and thrashed!....it's five and we weren't under the cosh and we weren't thrashed, just beaten by a better team.
If we lose Pardew I will cry for a week.

..I think Mr Parish is not a fool and can see a team trying to improve itself and you will regret saying this when we finish the season very very safe, why not just try and enjoy the ride?

you must have missed the two seasons staying up with the clubs highest premiership finish and a narrow defeat in FA cup final. Do try and keep up mate.

I personally hope we do see an improvement in Palace’s results before Christmas because I like the more attacking (and fluent passing?) style of play AP seems to be trying to introduce. The defensive frailties certainly need to be addressed and even then we’ll do well to get anything from the games against City, United and Chelsea. However if the games against Swansea, Southampton, Hull and Watford go badly, I believe AP must go. He’ll have had long enough by then for all to see whether the transition has been successful. Bringing in a new man (whoever) after the January transfer window would be too late because the odds of staying up then would be against us.

Not sure this supports him????

Crystal Palace have claimed just 0.73 points per game in 2016, the worst rate of any team in England's top four tiers.

Now here's Wright, his first chance to see what he can do, and he's through, it's Wright, ohhhh what an impact by the substitute. And it's Ian Wright who's sent the Palace fans into ecstasy!

Amen to the OP. As for the bafoons using 2016 to slaughter Pardew, anyone care to bring up his 2015 calender record? Football isn't played jan-jan. Pardew is ya win some, ya lose some kinda manager. This brand suits us and is more exciting than your pulis's, lvg's et all. Long live super Al.

Thanks for that. Member since Jan 2016, tells us everything we need to know, with all due respect. If you had followed CPFC for a few more years you would start to realise just how good things actually are right now...

I Don't think the win some lose some attitude works at the highest level, What your assuming is the recent threads are out and out attacks on Pardew, it is more about the teams poor performance over the long term. And he is the Manager and makes all calls where the team/tactics are concerned. We win he takes the praise ,We lose he has slippery shoulders, With a run of just 5 wins in 30 Games, I have not once hear him apologise and say its not good enough. And that says a lot about the man

In this type of environment where winning is so financially important to the progress of the club And with passionate supporters, He is always going to be in the headlights, And if I am honest his performance as Manager for us is awful, If we win the next 6 games, BECAUSE our comments are with the clubs interest in mind, I am sure theses threads would subside, If however we lose the majority of those games, We will be in the bottom 3 and on our way to the championship, Not what I or any sane supporter wants, Hence the threads
