Would I like him as one of my mates to have a drink down the boozer with? Yes.

Would I like him as manager of my club again? No.

Palace were promoted despite him. If I remember correctly, we were 2nd when he took over from Dougie and ended up 6th.

He comes across as a joker and idiot.

Other than that, I like him

When Freedman left we were 4th.
After he left Lawrence was caretaker for 2 games and Fleming for 1 game.
When Holloway took over we were 3rd and finished 5th.
Holloway was in charge for 31 league games and of course won the play-offs so he did play his part in our promotion.

I agree we won promotion in spite of him and Watford not turning up for the Wembley.

My goodness !

The man engineers a play-off win over Brighton over 2 legs, not conceding a goal in the process and a 3-0 home win over them early on and he still never gets any credit !

He seemed a decent enough fella, who did his best by Palace, but
was never really top drawer quality.

Very much into effort & enthusiasm on the pitch - a sort of "Dowie plus an ounce of talent & significantly more integrity"

All the best Oliie

QPR have some good players so he has a good chance. Whatever you think of him the play off wins were first class management. No way would DF have got us up IMO if his Bolton last game failure and the Cardiff cup loss is anything to go by.

Yeah that final match that season proved what a bottle job Freedman is. He played everyone behind the ball and finished 7th. What a delusional t1t.

He's witty and he seems very honest.

He gets results.

Doesn't take bungs, like some managers.

Doesn't make last minute substitutions, in return for a cut of the appearance fee, like some managers

Doesn't always buy the same platers at each club, and take a cut of the signing on fee, as some managers do (according to Joey Barton's book)

But is it going to be his las job in football and does he see Loftus Rd as a 'great stadium, with an intimidating atmosphere from the home fans'?

Don.t forget his unprofessional mawkish sentimentalism at Anfield. Then again, when in Rome.

If i remember correctly he brought with him Keith Millen as his number 2 and who remains at Palace. Has he appointed his number 2 at QPR yet and who is it?

We were flying high and aiming to consolidate an automatic promotion place when he took over but then started to slip downwards despite Holloway saying that this team was so good that they didn't need a manager as they managed themselves.

We went from being strong contenders for the automatic spot to only scraping in to the playoffs by the skin of our teeth
