I really don't understand why anyone buys the rubbish on sale at football grounds. Not only are the prices crazy but the quality and choice is always absolutely terrible and then you have to queue for ages. We've never bought any food or drink at a match, it's only 90mins. Eat before the match and have a drink (well awayfrom the ground) after the match.

This survey doesn't take into account that you can't just turn up and buy a ticket. Firstly you have to become a member which will set you back at least £25. This for the occasional fan makes the average match day price much higher. And then if you want a category A game the price goes through the roof.
