Yet again poor organisation lack of preparation and Fcuk all ownership taken by the players. There was a time not so long ago when we looked a really good solid unit. Sadly over the past 12 months it has been allowed to slowly but surly dwindle away.

Leader on the field desperately require. Dann is a good centre back but does nothing for me as a captain.

Absolutely shocking real basic school boy errors week after week

Despite what the OP suggests, this is nust a negative observation really.

Whole defence was poor not just Wayne

Agreed. We sit 2nd row, very close to that side of the goal. Believe me, there was little to no talking througout the 2nd half. Hennessy must be mute and Scott Dann appears to have joined him.

Same thing every week, basic defensive errors cost us. Clearly there is a fault in the training and organisation of the side, as never so consistently happened before

Embarrassing f**king goal from start to finish, but as soon as the ball goes off everyone should go straight to a player, then if there's time, swap them over so that their bigger/powerful players are marked by people of similar size.
Wickham looking over to the bench for instructions shows the little faith that our players have in our senior players to dish out instructions , also that Wickham is paid from the neck down.
Cabaye not facing the ball is what you are taught at under 6s.
Get Tony Adams (someone like him in as defensive coach), who will tell them they are a bunch of c**ts when the act like one.

All very correct.

worth pointing out i thought wayne had a good game on saturday.

the fingers he got to a cross halfway thru the 2nd half to take it out of the attackers path stopped a goal.

did his claim for a starting stop no harm at all

I find it strange that there is not a system in place for corners.
even at the crap level I played at everyone knew who was on the posts and who had to mark various of the opposition.
First off we don't have a system and second the players don't think on the hoof.
Everyone was to blame for their second goal - Pardew for no system; Hennessey for not being more forceful - can you imagine Schmiechel allowing our lot to stand around marking space;the players for being so dumb.

I agree that the post as a whole was negative, but I wasn't singling Hennessy out for criticism (something I did a fair bit of last season), I thought he had a very good game Saturday from 'saves made' point of view ... I just think it should be the keeper shouting instructions at corners. As someone else said can you imagine what Schmiechel would be saying to our back four!!

Didn't put a foot or hand wrong, and had a good game for us. Neither goal was his fault or realistically stoppable except by luck.

The defence was utterly to blame for the second, and I suspect a product of tired expectations based on the previous corners, lulling us into a sense of security - it was quite a clever corner really.

But f**king Yaya Toure always seems to score against us!

Very much agree, He did very well to get a hand to the Aguero effort from close range that Ward had to tidy up as well.

Six goals in seven games. He loves playing against Palace.
