I think liking Elton John can be considered a bit uncool, but there's no doubting his talent. Like I give a s***.

No doubting the man's talent I just don't like more than 4 of his songs (something about the way you look tonight, Benny and the jets, your song and that's why they call it the blues) and he gets over hyped. I think that for me is the key. Someone with some decent offerings and they just get flogged to sodding death by all and sundry.

All of her songs are about how beautiful she is and exciting and dangerous but they are all a dirge that makes her sound like the most fed up person alive. She makes Radiohead sound like Black Lace.

I was at the Radio 2 Party In The Park in the summer, I know I was made to go, and Elton was the headline act. Now like most of us I can stand him a little bit and he started well. Rocket Man,

got to agree with madness , so over rated , reminds me of middle aged blokes who put an a fred perry that's too tight and do the nutty boy dance . put the real late 60s early 70s reggae in front of these blokes and they wouldn't have a clue

By all accounts he also had a penchant for prescription pain killers, which around that era would have been opioid, side effects of which are constipation. Should probably have added laxido to his horror meals and a liking for fried peanut butter sandwiches - loads of them
