I don't hate Elton... I don't like any of his songs that he sings and think he was a t1t over that threesome business getting a court injunction when we all knew who the three were.

I get it that you like his stuff, but I don't.... it's all about our own musical taste and there will be stuff that we both like, and stuff that we disagree on good or bad.

The music business in the 50s and 60s (and probably ever after) has always had an attraction to Organised Crime, but I suspect that it would be more the manager who was involved, rather than the artist, notably Jewish organised crime, which in the US traditionally has very close and strong links to the National Crime Syndicate - and as a means of 'legitimising' themselves and spreading the reach of the New York gangs across the US.
