I broke my leg in 1980 and was unable to take up my usual season ticket seat. The club offered me a seat in the dugout for one game during this period and it was when Ernie Walley was managing the side. Ernie's vocabulary for the entire ninety minutes game time consisted of only three words. One of them was 'you' the other two began with an 'f' and a 'c' We lost the game but the experience was hilarious although probably not so funny if you were Mike Flanagan, at whom the majority of the abuse was directed.
