Before today, I was very pro-Pardew. What is really starting to tip me over the edge is I can't see the improvements. The 1 massive thing has been sorting out the defending from set pieces. Worst in the league, costs us every week. Today, we concede 4 from them. That's now 13 in 13 games. What are they working on during the week? He either isn't prioritising properly or is doing a crap job of coaching it. Either situation is sackable. If I made the same mistake 13 times at work, I'd be sacked. I couldn't give a monkeys if he coaches the team to score 4 if we can concede 5 to the team bottom of the league. It was at home to Southampton that the fans made it clear the previous manager had to go. It was away at Hull the season prior that we started to turn it around once Holloway had gone. History could be set to repeat itself.

When you're in a hole it's best to stop digging. No one, but no one, is convinced by this faux loyalty nonsense; it doesn't make you look like a better fan, it makes you look like a bit of a twit.

We are sh**e best just laughing & agreeing when people extract urine the defending doesnt seem to be in existence being loose at the back ok if you outscore the opposition. I think it might cost a small fortune to get rid so may be stuck the torture continues.

Agreed, I don't think his conditioning sets a great example. Andy Woodman has benefitted greatly from being on the AP meal ticket ever since they became buddies during their CPFC playing days. He was assistant manager at Rushden & Diamonds and after helping take them down secured lucrative jobs on Pardew's say-so at West Ham, Charlton, Newcastle and now with us. Anyone noticed that goalkeeping has been a disaster at our club under his tutelage? I was just about to mention this. How can a premiership goalkeeping coach be sweating his b*****ks off after the pre-match warm-up!

Today's game wasn't acceptable. We should not be losing to this lot let alone in this manner. We should have shut the game down once we were ahead. I've not been one of the Pardew- out brigade but I fear his time is up.

Next week everyone wants a win, but it is definitely a 'must not lose' game, seven is unthinkable. If AP is still in charge I believe the atmosphere will be toxic and if that transmits to the players it is never a good thing. Confidence is low in the team and in the crowd and every deadball around our box will be an adventure. New manager would help negate these feelings I think?
