If somebody comes in to organise the defence we have enough quality going forward to get results. Just very disappointing after the changes made in the summer and the positive words coming out of the club, that we are in the same situation as the second half of last season.

Exactly but thank God there was a cushion buffer to eat away at. This time round nothing really accrued pointwise to steam ahead just hope 3 worst teams the home form against them could be pivotal.

Just another point about potential trouble. With Connor out now, the squad is starting to look thinner and thinner. Let's hope we can get through December and the board are ready to make moves on the 1st January.

An injury to Benteke or Wilf right now would be catastrophic.

We're bang in trouble unless we change this Mickey Mouse chancing clown now along with the fat twit of goalkeeper coach.

He has his effect in the first few months. Now wake up.

Huge trouble. Are defence is absolute shambles. We don't have a Left Back and teams are trying to exploit that on every possession. Now we've lost Wickham for 6 months maybe a year with a Torn ACL.

..horrible injury for him and the team as he was proving a real threat and getting better every game, so unlucky and it really did unsettle the game plan today, the free kick for their first was an utter piss take as Puncheon did nothing but stand his ground keeping his eye on the ball and just controlled it, we were in complete control with their attacking and they were all over the place...what a messy game it was.

..putting it like that does give it some bells.

Pardew has one more game to stop the defence from falling over itself and then that's it I'm afraid as I believe the silly pressure on him will finally make him leave, the players need to look at themselves tonight because they have put Pardew into this mess.

We are in HUGE trouble if he stays.

Look at the mentality of the players... they are on the floor & it looks like they don't believe.
That's when it's time for a change.

How much trouble? Losing 6 on a trot, won 5 in about 34 PL games. Ask anyone just a little bit connected to team-sport the same question and the answer would be "BIG trouble". And Kelly still get the nod on left side - Sterling last week, this time Barrow ran around the poor bloke. Wake up Alan P and show some dignity. Like Roy H after the Icelandic disaster during Euro 2016......

With a new left-back we'll have a pretty strong squad. The problem is management.

Agree Manager needs to go, but we also need quality defender, midfielder and goalkeeper before window closes (at least!), hopefully board will get a move on as new manager needs to get searching!

How much trouble?
Just above relegation, only because of goal difference.
