Stuk raises a good point.

What persuaded Bannan, Price and O'keefe to agree with Pulis's false claim on the date of the heated players' meeting?

Were they doing a manager a favour in the hope it might be to the benefit of their future careers? Or is that being cynical and grossly unfair to the trio?

It's a pity there's no transcript of the evidence they gave when being cross-examined.

Something greased their palms I'd guess.

Optimistic as ever

Read the judgement..seems to me the application to the commercial court was a complete no hoper, presumably undertaken by Mr P to try and induce a less bad deal offer

No matter how terrible we are on the pitch at the moment, our chairman is fantastic. Best thing that's happened to the club in my lifetime (25 years).

The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money.

That is about the most one sided appeal judgement as you could read. Pulis is branded both a liar and deceitful. Well done CPFC for pursuing it so assiduously.

It would be interesting to know what other job Pulis had lined up that made him lie to get his bonus early and then walk out the next day, rather than wait until the end of the month. Whatever it was it clearly fell through.

West Ham. At the time West Ham wanted rid of Allardyce and it was easier to appoint Pulis if he wasn't employed elsewhere (remember Pulis had just won Manager of the Year). What West Ham weren't expecting was the winning streak they went on at the start of the season (including winning at Selhurst) which made it impossible to sack Allardyce, until much, much later in the season, by which time Pulis was fed up waiting (having his early bonus to live on)and accepted the West Brom job. All allegedly, of course.

Living down here does have some advantages. At least you can see them cry.

he was stupid, the findings bar the outcome of the original panel were secret. Now it's all out in public, to think some people would have him back here

the dignified don't even enter in the game

A football manager actually has £3.7 million spare cash, that he can afford to give back without going bankrupt?

That's what amazes me.

I know managing a football club is hard, so I have some sympathy.

But I didn't realise they earn that level of cash!!

Astonishing.

And yet, some of them still fiddle the clubs that shower all this money on them

I have played the game at a pretty reseanable level too and believe you me all this crap about Pardew is doing my head in.
Match day starts and ends with your players , end of , if they for what ever reason don't turn up there is sweet fa you can do about it .
I've watched palace most games this season , great when attacking and a bit of work to do when winning personal battles on the pitch .
Probably some of the best , EXITING football I've seen for many a year . Really don't get the Pardew out stuff .
BE VERY CAREFUL WHAT YOU WIDH FOR !!!!

Hate posts that start with Right, especially when its on the wrong thread and full of nonsence. 6 loses on the spin doesnt get me excited.
