As I keep saying I am only quoting the findings of an Independent body more qualified than you, or RMT and I cannot understand why this upsets you so much. Have you tried counselling or an anger management course? Name the safety procedures guards are trained in?

This is hilarious.... I've really rattled your cage. I now am pretty certain that I'm dealing with a disgruntled guard here! Your communication skills are nowhere near sharp enough for you to be a senior manager at MacDonalds, let alone a TOC. Be honest I got under your skin with my first post saying you were talking bollocks. You know it I know it. I don't think you are ever going to back down as your pride has been hurt and I represent every thing you hate. Surely you realise the general public are not going to know this level of detail. That doesn't mean we're automatically ruled out of having an opinion or that that opinion is by definition wrong. An independently appointed regulatory body has said this is safe. Employees of the business decide it isn't and strike leaving the public stuck and unable to travel on a monopolised transport route for months and months. If nothing else can you see why the public are extremely frustrated with those striking? Can you see why striking over safety concerns which an independent regulator doesn't recognise appears like bollo*ks to those on the outside?

Loads of sympathy for the public, and I don't expect them to know the inner workings of the railway. If this isn't about safety, what else is it about? Two different departments have now voted to strike, and turned down ££££'s in bonus payments to accept changes. Southern have gone to court when they should have gone ACAS.

You need to butt out... there are moderators to ensure fair play and limit abuse.... but as usual you ignore your own failings and only comment upon instances that go against your union agenda. Yes he is/was making stuff up and he upped the ante on the level of abuse so I upped my game... and I will continue to if he wants to play that game. as for Jap's eye... he has been sniping away at me and others on multiple threads and deserves the abuse back quite frankly.
