Truth is if my job performance were as abysmal as this I would either have fixed it ages ago or else left and taken on sonething I was good at. I couldn't look at myself in the mirror if I were this kind of charlatan for so long. Some people apparently can do that.

And I live perfectly well on 1% of what this muppet thinks he's worth.

so would you walk away from a potential huge pay off yes or no?

his performance hasnt been bad for that long, in may he acheived his job of keeping us in the premier league and over acheived by getting us to a cup final. so last year he actually over aheived as manager of crystal palace football club.

If that's true, then God help us when he starts under-achieving.

Quite frankly I find it hard to believe you have a job in the first place, you post on here morning, noon & night about Pardew. That's a big obsession mate.

Since people seem so interested, the answer's no. My personal standards don't extend to accepting multi-million pound payoffs for abject failure. HTH.

but surely its true...the mission at the start of the season would have been to keep crystal palace in the PL, anything else is a bonus seeming as its all about milking the PL cash cow nowadays.

thats got to be the standard for every season surely?

yes the 2nd half of the season wasnt great but we pards still secured enough points as manager over 38 games to maintain PL status.

Not so. His job (as stated by Steve Parish) was to push us on from the previous position of tenth and he failed that abjectly

If my memory serves my correctly were we not 5th at xmas off the back of a good run of wins?
Of course this year has been terrible points wise, but we've also played some of the best football I've seen palace play.
And I'm not saying we should keep him, just back him for as long as he's our manager and not to be hating him because he may or may not keep this 5 million

Very much doubt it.Tipped by the Independent to be sacked should we conspire to lose today against Southampton.
Do not doubt for a minute tha Pards wanted us to do well and push on this season and build a successful squad for the future.Just that the job of doing so is beyond his particular ability.
All good things come to an end.He has enjoyed full support of Parish and the board in a very ruthless results driven business, failed to deliver and time to move on.
Adieu Pards!!

Next door hasn't been burgled. They deserve to be, because they aren't separating out the recycling properly. I'm quite easy going about most things, but if someone puts a bottle in the landfill collection.... well, if I got my hands on them, I'd end up doing time. And I'd be happy to do it
