He should have just said he was thanking Parish for his loyalty. End of.

Couldn't give a s*** about what significance any of it has but every time he opens his mouth he sounds like an idiot who has to have the final word and none of this will be lost on his wealthy players.

Nothing to do with it. Anyone who publically criticises their boss (whether justified or not) is unprofessional. If you don't believe that you my friend will never be anything more than 'one of the workers'

Except he didn't criticise them.

Not even slightly. Listen to the interview in full he isn't criticising the Americans he is explaining why and how Parish supported him which wasn't easy because of the six defeats. Could it have been phrased better? Undoubtedly but mountains and molehills springs to mind

I don't think its unreasonable you don't have to be knowledgeable about football to invest in a football club.

They are distant and could attend the odd game probably love it.

It was just disrespectful, because he was talking about his superiors in a way that is open to interpretation - he should't put them, or himself in that situation. Esp with the media like it is in the Uk, they jumped all over it. It comes across as arrogant as he is making it seem he has his buddy Parish on side and is untouchable.
We got to be honest, Pards is a smart guy and he is able to manipulate situations. Is he a bad person, each to their own.
Whilst it didn't offend me, i'm not a snow flake or SJW, i did realize that it was probably the wrong thing to say, in a nut shell it basically comes across as "screw what the americans think, Parish knows i am doing a good job at the club, it's not just about results'

I saw that interview. It was taken out of context. Sure, it wasn't as uber diplomatic as it perhaps could have been but they really must have the thinnest of skins if they took offence. They genuinely don't know a lot about football... I bet they'd be the first to admit it too.

We all know he going nowhere for other week. He can cut the silly talking about owners and get results on the table.

Sounds like another nail in his coffin.
This was not a convincing win and the best thing was the clean sheet. Should he be blaming the investors so publicly?

I watched this interview and in context, I didn't think it was all that bad. It seemed like he was genuinely grateful to the chairman, and was saying that Parish helped explain things to people who don't have a background in football.
