He's standing in for Pardew as this week's source of feeble excuses. Every time that ball went back to Forster Benteke (or Puncheon, or someone) was going up and giving him hassle. Getting in his face, stopping him doing what he wanted with it, making him move it before hoofing it, and just being a nuisance. Do that often enough and everntually it'll pressurise some poor sap into a gaffe. Edited by chateauferret (03 Dec 2016 9.38pm)

I'm Sure Napoleon used that old excuse as well once. It defo rolled over his foot, nothing wrong with the pitch. Silly old Puel!!

A few years back, maybe I'd let that excuse wash; but not yesterday. Basically, Puel is searching for excuses that aren't there. They were poor. End of.
