The ref had 4 penalty decisions to make and made THREE wrong, all in favour of the home side. What a f***ing surprise!
Refs really don't want to give more than 2 pens in a game unless it's impossible to ignore. He saw both challenges on Benteke and bottled them both.
On the first one Cheat should of been given a second yellow and we should of been facing 10 men. After his third penalty decision and second incorrect one Hull went straight down our end and scored. So yet another game changing poor decision.
Believe it's time to move AP on, but he ain't getting nothing from the refs so far this season.

I thought the ref was terrible today. Made a lot of mistakes, firstly the penalty which as the biggest mistake. I then disagreed with Puncheon's yellow card, didn't get that at all. Wilf was penalised for BEING fouled. I thought Benteke's shout for a penalty was possibly valid too (albeit a soft penalty if given).

But all that said, I thought Hull were the better side and we didn't deserve to beat them. So I have mixed feelings. I think perhaps we were robbed by the ref of a result we shouldn't have had anyway (IMHO).

Benteke was definite penalty. Our defence was s***.

Game changing decision. If the ref get the decision correct Snodgrass gets a second yellow for simulation. Hull down to 10 men for 3/4 game. Wilf pen a bit soft but there was a definite trip on Benteke in the 2nd half. Poor day in the office for that ref

I agree and so did MOTD weirdly.

MOTD should introduce a 'dive of the month' segment, Snodgrass would be a top contender!

I cannot work out what the ref was thinking when he didn't give a pen for the trip on Benteke. It was totally clear - just as it was clear that the Snodgrass dive wasn't a pen. Was he thinking: I f*cked up on the Hull pen, I compensated by giving Palace a soft pen for the trip on Wilf, so that's enough for today? It was also a pen when Dawson pulled down Benteke, but not as clear as the Benteke trip. Maybe he thought, I didn't give the trip so I can't give this either.
The Snodgrass decision was a game-changer as Snodgrass should have got a yellow for the dive and gone off. The first Benteke decision was a game-changer too because Hull scored immediately afterwards.
The other yellows against Palace were mostly soft. When Cabaye got his for a dangerous kick, the Hull player clutched his face even though he hadn't been touched. So more Hull cheating paid off.
The ref reached Clattenf*ck levels of bias and ineptitude.

What really annoys me is the language after an incident like the Snodgrass non penalty. The commentators say you need luck when your not doing well. He was lucky to get the penalty. They shouldn't be talking about luck, the professional sportsman, cheated. End of, he cheated, it wasn't contentious, he cheated and later admitted it wasn't a penalty. Didn't stop him owning up to the ref though did it.

Come on pundits shame these players more and come on FA get our house in order, it's discrediting our game!

It's disgusting that he's just going to get away with that. Obvious dive and lied about it afterwards. A far cry from the days when a batsman walked before the umpire's finger went up. My eight year old was watching that. What sort of example does it set?

Yet another in a long line of deliberately useless referees!! How can a so called professional get so many decisions wrong week after week unless instructed to do so!!!
If anyone here did their job so badly, made so many bad decisions as some referees do every week they would be sacked...but referees just get defended by the fa week after week...time to bring in technology..the game is just too fast for unfit refs to keep up and to bring in compulsory eye tests. If the ref can't see that was never a penalty he should be fired immediately
