Glad to say I have always praised his passion and his work ethic and when he came on there was no one on the pitch I'd rather have seen score....well, Benteke was my captain in Fantasy Football this week....but other than that, well chuffed.

Not suddenly lauding him as a wonder player, but he's been rewarded for being a patient and hard working player. Good for him.

Confounds me too..... but I guess his performances to date in front of goal don't help his acceptance by us fans?
