He's made a phenomenal improvement and having a phenomenal season. I've been a critic of his end product but things have clicked and he has the confidence to know he can do what he tries against a player. A lot less of the appealing for everything which is a good thing.

Wilf is almost priceless to us at the moment. He is playing nigh on the best football I have seen him play at Palace attacking, assisting, crossing, defending and Scoring!

If I was part of our medical team I would want to transfuse some of Wilf's blood into Townsend in an effort to shake some enthusiasm into him up in time for United and Chelsea as the difference in those 2 at the moment is vast!
