Ive been a big critic of Zaha for a long while
Nowhere near consistent enough and a terrible finisher for a premiership footballer
The last few games this year his crossing and his finishing (or shots on target ) have been much much better.
Credit here to Zaha himself for clearly working at his game and to Pardew and the coaching staff .
Im not sure where the creativity is gonna come from if he is allowed to go to the African nations .
But just to put this into perspective McCarthur is still by some distance Palaces most important and influential player . Week in and week out he is phenomenal .

It would be the most unwise move ever to try and prevent a player from representing his country if he wishes to do so.

Well its not like he's passionate about Ivory Coast
He only decided to play for them because England wasn't interested .

Well Didier Drogba encouraged him a couple of years ago to sign up to the IC. He told him he would be treated like a king by the people there and much more appreciated that than the turgid and depressing England set-up are.

Good luck to him. Southgate must be blind. How Townsend can be chosen ahead on Zaha is beyond me. Any way good luck to Wilf as he deserves to be in the international stage.

I love the fact he has a new crossing technique that works! So much better. And as for Ivory Coast, at least he'd have a chance of winning a competition with them and equal chance in World Cup (and euros lol!)

A brilliant player deserves his chance to shine on the international stage,at England's loss.
Wonder though for how much longer he will be with us if a really massive offer comes in for him in the window ??

i think its pretty clear there is no palace fan who doesnt love wilf zaha

but...weve all been saying for 18months he needs to add assists & games as to his game.

well now he is, and hes looking like a top, top player, and it wont be long before teams are having todouble up on him like theywere in the championship.

that alone will make more space for the rest of the team and i think it will help us create even more goig forward.

i dont know who to thank but im damm pleassd its happened
