The police seemed to be very quiet about Muslim child rape rings, and I wouldn't accuse of the police of being left wing. And everyone I know condemned the rape of children by anyone. They did point out however the hypocracy of when its a Muslim, then its also about race and religion... Murder, rape, torture, all these things are unacceptable, irrespective of race and religion. I don't think that should really need to be stated. If you rape kids, you're to blame. Not your upbringing, your religion or the colour of your skin.

Its probably one, if not the, largest religion in the world. First contact for me, was the Crusades, in primary school. And I grew up in a very white town, with very little in the way of ethnic diversity until more recent times. I don't think people know that much now, truth be told. There were next to no Muslims in Britain until relatively recently so they weren't something anyone had to concern themselves with, that is the point. They were not in the public consciousness beyond the odd news story and Carry on films.

Terrorism is a definite problem, but then that's not exactly been limited to just one religion on the UK in my life time. In truth, being a c**t has nothing to do with race, religion, etc. its all about being a c**t, and rather than fixing their own problems with the world, decide to take it out on everyone else. People who are unhappy, like to blame something or someone else, rather than addressing their own issues first (and the same is often true of lefties with capitalism). Fix yourselves first, then fix the problems. But in truth, most people just find it easier to hate, as it fits their nice ideaology of 'how special they are' and how its everyone else who's ruining their lives.

Its odd, but there isn't actually that many Muslims in the UK now, only around 5% of the UK population are Muslims (around 2.5m, of which 100,000 are converts). Its roughly doubled every decade (1991 to 2001 being the biggest jump I think). But certainly, migration of Muslims really began in or around the late 70s. But its been pretty much doubling since the 60s. But I suspect back then people who are now into hating on the Muslims, where hating on Blacks and Indians.

F**k me, they must have seen Carry on Up the Kyber etc... Everyday vocabulary it just wasn't used. I probably never used the word 'muslim' myself until well into the 90's. It was all Islamic this and Islamic that. Not quite sure when, why or how it changed, the narrative, to 'muslims' but it did at some point. Probably 9/11.
